1. Nothing on social media is secret. We just use it, don't own it, no matter what we want. It's part
of a vertical structure that can, and will be recorded for profit, or shut down from the top at will.
We are invaded and isolated by the same technology we use to attempt horizontal or peer communications. I am never surprised or outraged at these things as we volunteered to join the networks.
We are in what was once called by the term of a 'sharecropper's agreement' where there is no firm contract and the land owner changes the rules at will. The networks we use are cheap, but the words and images we yield to them will be sold to others.
