chu was too pro-nuke, and anti-Hydrogen Economy. Good riddance! Don't be surprised if chu becomes a well-paid nuke lobbyist after he leaves DOE. Notice that many nuke plant licenses were renewed last year under chu's watch... Hopefully, the next DOE Secretary won't be as owned by the fossil fuel and nuclear power industries as chu was. I am of the opinion that Ex-Washington State Governor Gregoire is well-qualified to replace Lisa Jackson as Head of the EPA but not to replace chu as head of the DOE. Gregoire worked in Washington State's Dept. of Ecology before becoming the Governor of the same. She has no PhD. as far as I know....though that degree and university experience didn't seem to make chu any "smarter." Remember, the DOE is in charge of the U.S.'s nuclear arsenal...
