they are lamenting that the Walmart shelves have been bare of ammo for a while.

This news presumably means they won't be re-stocking them.

Now, I trust Walmart about as far as I can throw them, but I think it's encouraging that some bigger establishments (DicksSporting Goods, now Walmart) are pulling back on firearm related sales, even if only a little. Reasonable gun control would be easy if we could generate the passion and mobility that the MUCH SMALLER pro-gun constituency is able to generate. Why isn't there a boycott of Walmart and other sporting goods stores until they stop selling guns? We seem able to mobilize for a while when passion is high after a mass shooting, but then the momentum dies.

We need to go after anyone who profits off guns with the same or more ferocity we went after Rush with when he called Sandra Fluck a slut.
