I hope that he will gradually accept his master's disappearance (or death, if he understands), and learn to love the members of his new family.

It looks like Ms. Johnson is cuddling him up. It was very good of her to take him home.

May Elvis have several more good years before he travels over the rainbow bridge to meet his former master.
