96. I knew a similar case from the 90s

A family friend who was a young attorney had a contentious session with an established, old cranky judge...

AFTER leaving the courtroom and walking out the court building, he complained to a friend how much of an asshole the judge was, so the security guard at the front door ran into that courtroom, told the baliff who told the judge, and before my friend reaches his car in the parking lot, he gets dragged back into that courtroom, charged with contempt and spends a couple nights in jail...true story...You better believe that judge wanted to send a message on what my friend's "place" was...
