In the meantime, we must play defense. We must defend our ground.

We must stop losing ground with nothing in return.

The Republicans will be more than happy to wreck Obamacare, wreck Social Security, wreck Medicare, wreck Medicaid.

They won't give an inch regarding raising taxes on the top 1%.
They won't let us pass meaningful reforms to curb corporate excesses, to pass meaningful Wall Street Reforms, to pass meaningful climate legislation, to pass meaningful gun control legislation.
They won't compromise their interests.

It takes two to negotiate.

When the other side won't compromise, and you already compromised a lot, you have to stop.

Do you really believe the middle class wins when the Democrats capitulate to the Republicans,
when the Republicans get 99%, even 100% their way, and the Republicans are still not satisfied?
