8. For all it's faults....

Dec 2012

I have always felt safe traveling in India with my daughter.....Until this last trip. Young college aged tourists are kidnapped for ransom-esp European looking ones. My daughter was missing in Mumbai when her plan landed. Hubby and her boyfriend were frantic and Hubby was ready to fly from Hyderabad to Mumbai to look for her. They finally located her at the airport-the plane taxied into the international side instead of the local.

Rape of women has always been unthinkable to the average Indian. No matter what one had to worry about being a woman in India...rape was not one of them, until now. This is so sad.
