And the media's no more obsessed with Israel than it has been with Iraq or Iran or other areas of conflict in the world. And of course people write books about the I/P conflict. Why wouldn't or shouldn't they?

I just checked and you were doing the 'Jewish soldier' thing in a reply to me, and I hadn't said anything about religion.

The antisemitism here at DU? Let me guess. You think people daring to criticise Israel's policy towards the Palestinians is antisemitic. Actually I don't need to guess, given this post I read earlier today.
