It is clear they have no reservations about bending any law required to meet the ends they demand. They only need a majority large enough in congress. They already have access to money and any "services" required.

Put another way: If Rove et al can get away with assassinating the truth as well as the opposition, a coup by means of congressional fiat is certainly possible.
