(36,974 posts)34. If you're under 55 now, when you retire you will have less money which means
you will have less money that can be used to help take care of your elderly parents (those that are still alive).
So, it actually WILL affect the folks that are currently 55 and older.
Do the republicans not realize that MANY retired 'children' help support parents that are in their 80s and 90s and even 100s?

My thoughts exactly. Again the 1% can get along anywhere,but the 99% under R/r will be decimated.
