1. The City Council better be careful

if they reverse the zoning decision because of the viewpoint of the company's president. City governments aren't immune from the restrictive hand of the First Amendment, and using zoning laws to keep out a business because of a viewpoint disagreement could just end up costing the city money in legal fees for no practical purpose.
