3. Don't worry. They will make a deal so that the cost of the

equivalent of unemployment insurance falls on Peugeot. Peugeot made lots of money thanks to the contributions of its employees for many years. Now it should help its employees through any transition, and if possible firings should be avoided.

Essentially, the company is going on strike against the workers. And if there isn't enough demand for the product and that is the cause of the problem, then work needs to be done on that end.
