Jul 2012

It is BLISTERING hot in DC. Seriously, do not let the elderly or frail go out for anything more than a short walk from door to (cool) car to A/C cooled bldg.

Wunderground says wind will shift from WSW to NW so that will cool things and hopefully we'll get some rain, too.

The green leaves on branches that cracked off in last week's storm dried up and browned in a day or two.

And high humidity, too, no doubt. Or maybe not--that would be a pleasant break. Comrade Grumpy Jul 2012 #1
