The for-profit "schools" that have popped up everywhere are about as useful as payday loan sharks and liquor stores in economically depressed areas...the fundamental right of any American should be a university level education or trade school, with the institutions themselves paying for the right to attract the best students into their graduate programs.

As a society, of all the ills and bad ideas we have right now, NOT providing education to our citizens is the worst of the bunch. We should provide a future for our society, and that cannot happen when we are more intent on jailing the disadvantaged than we are in raising the standard of living from the bottom up (instead of the continued idolatry of "trickle-down" and money worship that we suffer now)...
