There are people with bookkeeping knowledge who are willing to work at that price, as the poster pointed out, they got applicants with advanced education and experience.

Plenty of business owners are hard nosed skinflints who will not pay one cent more than they absolutely have to for anything, that's a type that tends to do well in a great many areas of business.
