it's just too much noise and not much real singing talent. I loved Freddie Mercury because he still sang.
I remember as a kid the Everly brothers were popular and I went to a week of summer church camp at the beach (Oregon) and we had a set of twins on our bus that were named Emory and Ellory, and every time I thought of them I thought of the Everly brothers. They were a cute set of twins too.
Times change...music changes. There are some things I wish would stick around longer.
RIP Phil. You and Don had beautiful voices and your harmony was delightful.
I was a Gene Pitney fan too.
The sad thing about Phil's death is that we are still fighting the war against cigarettes and now we (Phillip Morris) are killing more people overseas with tobacco than at home...we will never learn.
My ex passed last year, at 65, because of cigarette smoking most of his life. I wish I could have gotten him to stop.
RIP Phil...you gave us a lot of wonderful memories and music.
