25. Obama's problem is that
it was okay to blame Bush in the first year.
However, he needed to switch gears and tell the people how he was going to fix the economy and how repukes were foiling his every attempt. Every time the repukes shut the recovery, there should have been people from the admin on every talk show and on every open microphone saying hos republicans want a bad economy for partisan reasons.
However, he focused too much on healthcare -- without ever explaining to plain folks how the healthcare legislation would help them get a job ... i.e lower costs for US corporations leading to expansion.
I don't recall anyone arguing that repuke governors were killing high speed rail projects ONLY to keep Obama from creating jobs.
I don't recall anyone arguing how "fountain up" (as opposed to "trickle down") economyt would work with an investment of deficit spending where each dollar spent on infrastructure projects would bring back $1.07 in revenue to the government.
It is not too late and they need to call the rethugs on their tactics. Unfortunately, Obama is no Bill Clinton who can communicate to people on their level in a non-uppity way and make them understand.
