Van Hollen said seven teams would be assigned to Milwaukee, in cooperation with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office, and two will be assigned to Madison.
In addition, one team will operate in each of the following communities: Appleton, Green Bay, Racine/Kenosha, Waukesha, Eau Claire, Wausau, Janesville/Beloit and La Crosse.
Van Hollen said a similar effort would be conducted in the November general election. The attorneys and agents all have been trained in election law and law enforcement.
