Umm, WE are supposed to be FOR the downtrodden. It hurts the jobless, instead of helping them, when lies with statistics such as this are told. It hurts them by placating and numbing the very forces we need to be motivated to put political pressure to work in favor of real solutions.

Try this instead. There are plenty more where it came from.
