CU student's yogurt spills on President Obama [View all]

BOULDER - A University of Colorado freshman is admitting to accidentally spilling yogurt on President Obama.

The President was at the university Tuesday to give a speech on student loans and a looming deadline that could double interest rates unless Congress takes action. Before he arrived at the Coors Event Center for the address, he stopped at the popular restaurant - The Sink - for a pizza.

Outside the restaurant, he greeted students and other spectators. Freshman Kolbi Zerbest says Secret Service Agents asked those in the area to put down anything in their hands as the president was approaching to greet them for safety reasons. Zerbest says she sat her bowl of yogurt on the ground, but a media representative accidentally kicked it onto the president.

She says even though it wasn't exactly her fault, she was happy to take the blame.
