At 40, she is also the youngest current governor in the country. Haley signed a law cracking down on illegal immigration and checks many of boxes in terms of tea party enthusiasm. However, as mentioned, she's been in office just 18 months. And for all of her charisma and star power, Haley could generate some distractions for the Romney campaign, given accusations that she was involved years ago in an extra-marital affair, allegations Haley has denied.
