My mother died of cancer. I don't know if this would have helped her or not. She was diagnosed in Oct 2006 and died in Jan 2007. I think if they had caught it sooner she would have lived longer, but I don't know. Her care after diagnosis isn't the issue, she was treated. The issue here is earlier diagnosis and better preventative medicine. I think that is what will in the long run make health care more affordable, earlier cheaper treatment and more of a focus on prevention of disease.
