Through an interesting series of events I'll likely be the Democratic candidate for my legislative district, seeking in November to defeat a 4-term Republican with a sizable (mostly out-of-state, I think) war chest. I've always relied on DU for inspiration and perspective about politics, and I'll continue to check in, both to post how the campaign is going and to seek encouragement and fresh ideas about the process.
