"Sanford Police Department" and not "911" it proves that the person answering was an officer. That claim is simply not valid. There's no reason to think that a non-emergency line would be more likely to be answered by an officer than not, really the opposite is more likely (and if I had to bet, I'd guess that the non-emergency line goes directly to the 911 dispatcher during off-hours).

But if you say that you did call the Sanford PD non-emergency line, and the person who answered was a sworn LEO, and they told you that the person who answered when Zimmerman called was a sworn LEO, then of course I'd believe you - why would you lie?
