(10,437 posts)Not only is it at the end of yet another entirely individually-based negative answer (almost all negative answers related individual tales; most positive ones had a broader mostly national aggregate view) but it assumed an individually positive slant on the OP's part when the OP offered absolutely no individual data at all.
It seems to be the normal MO for DU doomers to not only believe that individual stories can refute aggregate data, but to assume any view on aggregate data that, as it must to show sane understanding, reflects a positive direction in this time period, also necessarily indicates a positive individual story.
I make $8k a year less than I did 4 years ago. My retirement funds are much improved however, and I have better employment options should my current job disappear. I live in a smaller house but have more equity. That's a pretty much about the same" for me personally, but I personally am a couple hundred millionth of the answer, and I realize that.
