is why I said it is too general of an assumption for the big media to focus on.
On ANY issue where there are cuts and no tax increases, you can say people hate those affected by the cuts and love those who they did not raise taxes on.
Do we hate our soldiers because we want cuts in defense? Of course not. That is just a false talking point pushed by right-wingers. Big media however just reports cuts to defense.
