They've got some now (I'm sure both of the guys you mentioned would be in the 1%) and they don't want to be taxed on it.

Taxes for entertainers don't come out of your check every week like they do for most people. They are paid at tax time after wrestling with every deduction you think you can get away with, so in that way paying taxes are a lot more personal than having it taken out of your check where you get used to living on what's left.

And maybe a little of it is some social conservatism, mostly of the patriarchial flavor. Guys like this don't really like women, except for sex and a lot of them have the attitude that women are only there to be used. Socially conservative circles are the only places where this attitude is accepted.
