I was more talking about the tendency of people to support unsavory regimes because they are opposed to US foreign policy and not any posts on this particular thread. You can't deny that does go on around here. Often people accentuate the positive aspects of these regimes and talk much less about the glaring negatives. It's the reverse of what the other side does. Is that 'shilling?' Depends on one's opinion and perspective I guess.
If you want evidence of it, there's plenty to go around on the hundreds of Libya threads from this year.
It's difficult to even discuss these types of issues sometimes, because when anything concerning a country in the ME comes up, all some people want to do is talk about the US.
