What I think he is trying to say is that he doesn't think Trayvon should have been killed for being black in a gated community. Then he brings up a pertinent point I think, that this happens everyday, people getting killed for being black minding their own business at the same time a gun nut is present. Or I could be completely wrong.

ETA: If this is indeed what he is saying, then he is having a sort of a good moment. But, he is still an asshat.
