I think not. Nor do I think there's a shred of evidence to support such an assumption. Democrats have been so progressive on this issue? Not. Look at Cuomo right now in NY. If I had the time or cared enough - which I don't (not about the issue - that I do care about - but about convincing anyone) I'm sure I could find plenty of Ds willing to scream for draconian "law 'n order" for drugs - including marijuana. Voting will not matter to money & power vs the people until corporations & their lobbyists can't buy the legislators. And they buy the Ds just as easily as the Rs.
