Probably Keith needs to run his own network. Obviously his ideas are great, getting Rachel, building MSNBC up and helping to increase its ratings. I think he finds it constricting to have to run ideas he knows are good, past people who might not have the same vision.

I know he thought he would have a lot of freedom at Current, maybe he likes to build things. So whatever happened, I don't know. But there have been rumors that there were problems.

It's a testament to his good instincts that he pushed for someone as good as Rachel to have her own show. He knew talent when he saw it.

I hope he is back on the air soon. I haven't checked Twitter to see if he has sent out any tweets, but I doubt it.
