which focused on a local reporter who asked his neighbors questions about Snowden.

The neighbors simply said a few things including the fact he had boxes piled floor-to-ceiling in his garage for the entire six months he lived there. I really didn't think anything of it at the time and I certainly didn't disparage Snowden over having boxes in his garage. I've got boxes in my garage.

I guess I always assumed there were DUers that actually made fun of him for having boxes in his garage, but it looks like nobody on DU did.

So the whole notion that people here made fun of him for having boxes was invented out of thin air.
