Baroni & Christie think that the fact that the lanes only served Fort Lee residents is a sign that this was all really not that big of a deal. This is how Christie operates. He will punish you by causing pain to people who will blame you first. By the time the dust settles, usually it ends with you suffering and Christie laughing. Property taxes, state aid, public pensions, his M/O is the same.
