In reply to the discussion: Just sickening. "Emergency Manager" in Detroit caused blackout during heatwave to teach a lesson.... [View all]etherealtruth

I have been 'crazed' by this thread. It doesn't agree with the reality here. I had to talk about this at work today ... many co-workers are residents of the city of Detroit (and many are not). None of us could figure out the understanding of the situation expressed here or in the addicting info article.
Though my frustration is no excuse for rudeness I (truly) apologize if I was rude or responded harshly to you.

Nah. Besides a few pockets of decency, Michigan is run by Fox News and hate Radio

I understand your frustration. I had to edit my post as I said "I hope you are" instead

I reported electronically, gave the link to the article, said to investigate the issue.

Knowling is just a spokesman. Unlike Orr, the Emergency Manager, he cannot turn off the electricity.

Yikes! If this sort of thing is being done by not "white Republicans" we're in real trouble.

You're so right freshwest. If it inconvenienced Glenn Greenwald, there'd be more outrage.

That's why I call G.A.S. 1% media. They don't see our lives from their lofty position on the clouds.

A DU acronym. First letter is Greenwald, and I bet you know the rest of the heroic trifecta.
