...cause any credit he's given refutes some previous rushpublican action. If the economy improves, it puts a light on the abuses that occured under the dubya regime...or if he removes troops from Afghanistan or Iraq that highlights the illegal invasions, poor planning and overall criminality of the previous regime. The perception must be that things are bad or worse despite facts that prove otherwise if the rushpublicans are to ever have any chance to win elections...
