(18,219 posts)where you are free to express liberal politics. I suppose you could say that I am too, since they call me the "token liberal" and use me as the person to argue their mindless points. But at least I am free to express myself if they take a breath. Not that it is all bad. A few people who are undecided or on the fence about things know that they can ask me about things that they don't know details about, and get the liberal perspective. And at least one GOPer has gotten disenchanted with the teabag agenda that he can't even debate the merits of the conservatives anymore and has stopped voting----now if only I can get him the start voting Democrat! That would be my life's work fulfilled.
As to comfort, I find that looser pants are more comfortable than jeans these days (unless they are two sizes too big which is not much of a fashion statement), and long skirts are always in the way trying to trip me. T-shirts don't flatter me with the way that they fit. I am hitting that "old lady" fashion stage in life.....but I have decided that being comfortable is of the highest priority, along with not looking like a fool for wearing tight clothes that are in fashion with my not-so-fashionable body. And to all the young people who read this far and are laughing at me, you will see one day.
