Which I know is your point: things haven't really changed. But life as a megabank is a lot tougher now than it was in 2008. They're trying hard not to show how hard it is to their shareholders, but the truth will come out sooner or later. Once it does, there will be a lot of pressure applied to break up. If Brown-Vitter passes, that pressure will become extreme.
