just in a sort of social group that is opposed to the rights of my community? I mean pick one. Either you are of that faith or not. If you don't like the teachings, stop defending them, supporting them, lending your personal energies to them.
Your faith opposes my rights. I'm going to criticize the hell out of anyone holding to such ancient prejudices or to the institutions that promote those prejudices. What should I fear, that the RCC is going to get more anti gay if I'm not nice to them? Get real.
