43. I find that too amongst my friends

A varied bunch and not a one can you tell by just their appearance or their vocations, hobbies, interests. As you illustrate we are friends despite our politics, not because of them. I remember when I had met my ex-gf, she had a quilt and fabric shop, very quaint, she often held book clubs, poetry readings, everything she did by hand, recycled everything, meticulously, very petite, soft spoken, short black hair and mild of dress in earth tones and vegan. She was a tea partier. Even my prejudice would have prevented me from knowing a wonderful person if I had judged her on her politics, the irony is that my prejudice expected her to be a liberal.

and no, we didn't split over politics, in fact we never fought over that.
