I don't give a rat's ass if you later decide, once the cat is out of the bag and you fear possible repercussions or want another job, that torture is bad - you're still a piece of shit.

Everyone involved (to include enacting & enabling) in America's torture program should have been prosecuted. They certainly aren't fit to serve in government. And that includes those currently in government that enabled Bush in any way.
