(10,942 posts)I have lived in the state for decades and have experienced many political races. Independents out number democrats in my state and are prone to buying into a good story by a republican that hides his or her intentions. Instead of bringing out someone that has a well defined public record, I expect that republicans will bring out an unknown who will be speaking soothing words and hiding his or her politics. I don't need or want people from outside this state making comments. You brother is ok making comments, but not you, I don't care if you lived here once upon a time, long ago. You know nothing about how modern politics in this state operates outside of the potentially unrealistic views of your brother.
Markey should beat the poser Lynch in the April democratic primary, but then Markey must run a sustained, tough reality based race in the general and quickly bury his republican rival before special election voting day.
