(11,464 posts)the only people who wouldn't in their party want him are the extremeists.
and like it or not, the Bush's are seated.
Except when a Clinton is running against them.
there is NO other democratic candidate but Hillary who has been 100% vetted, and who can just chuckle and laugh, there they go again with their rightwing conspiracies.
Most democratic candidates could beat most of the republican challengers, but not all.
Hillary can beat all of them, quite easily, and would win some red states (I predict 5 or 6)
and just about all the blue states (except perhaps PA if Christie is on the ticket as VP.
NJ won't turn red. But PA might.
If the wrong candidate is picked it would be another McGovern/Dukakis/Mondale
And indeed it is time for a woman President.
Hillary would also carry with her, coattails
and of course, Hillary would have Bill and he is great person to person nationwide.
and of course, Hillary would have the backing completely of President Obama and Michelle Obama.
And in 2016, President Obama would be strong enough to win a 3rd term, but he can't run.
(too bad if you asked me. Wish he could have 4 terms like FDR, but he can't).
and I do hope VP Biden runs too, to take out the others. Flank her, then back her.
One two punch.
And yes, I would keep Joe Biden for a 3rd term as VP, or give him the SOS in 2017.
Continuation of President Obama's agenda, at all costs, IMHO
to continue the job of completing it.
