157. Great dog owner.

Jan 2013

My best friend Texas Elvis a dalmatian I had been with for 13 years passed on last February and as I knew it was time we had steak and beans for a whole week. I gave him a bath each night and when he was crossing over I whispered in his ear. "I'm here man. I'm here." It was tough and sad for the whole family. But what a cool dog he was. We buried him beyond the fence behind the house in a nice new orange sleeping bag with my pillow which he loved, some family pics, his soccer ball, and a bottle of Becks. He loved a sip of beer and even had some before he went. A nice little plaque commemorates his resting spot. Raising a glass tonight for all cool dogs and their loving owners!
