Oprah wanted a new pair of glasses when she was a little girl but her mother would not get them for her.
When her mother came home from work one day, Oprah was on the floor unconscious and her glasses were smashed. She blamed an intruder. She was rushed to the hospital where she admitted she did it to get new glasses.
Her mother then sent her to live with her father.
Ha! Kids will be kids.
