In reply to the discussion: OBAMA URGED TO RESIGN OVER BEYONCÉ SCANDAL [View all]Cynicus Emeritus
(172 posts)shouldn't ever become a controversial end result to a Presidential inauguration. The politics of this should mean nothing.
When I first formed an opinion on this, I first viewed it as a few wealthy greedy Hollywood elite wishing to protect their own reputation while covering up the means of protecting it. How many concerts do they perform using recordings, and how many paying big money are not aware?
If they can't do what they claim they are doing, and instead give us a false impression they are doing something live, when they are not, they have no right doing it at all. It drives me nuts seeing this controversy being handed off to Obama's plate when it should remain on those who did it.
Hollywood is already over rewarded and much too rich for doing way too little of any serious worth. They lie too much, they pretend too much, and they deceive us. Instead of giving the public a multi-millionaire entertainer with private jets and multiple homes, they give us BS instead of transparency.
Call me whatever but there are certain fundamentals of government that I subscribe to and it is always about total honesty and transparency.
