Chris Christy is actually their only hope. But, they would never nominate him. He is too outspoken against the PTB conservatives and he is pro choice and a whole lot of other issues. His weight is one of them a lot of conservatives are fat phobic so are a lot of liberals, but it is far more likely a conservative will punish a candidate for perceptual flaws than a liberal will.

That being said, I don't think even Christy is smart or talented enough to fool 51% of the electorate, he just comes the closest.
