who was also collecting a paycheck, the terms of which forbid him from engaging Hannity directly. He's kind of a sad sack on the air - his book is pretty good from what I hear.

I don't think they want Kucinich to be a forceful and effective advocate for liberalism - i think they want him because they believe that, already, he's not a very strong advocate for liberalism. I don't think they will tell him anything; they want him to keep doing what he is doing.

That said their perceptions of him are probably different than ours.
