35. OK. I had to go take a look.

I don't frequent FDL.
I have seen a few posts at FDL critical of the Democratic Party that I felt were unjustified,
but I have also seen posts that were Right-On-the-Money.
I decided to go look for myself instead of passing judgement based on the number of headlines that you deemed as "critical" of the Democratic Party.

Story 1 "critical of Democrats":

"Obama Administration Won’t Show Secret Legal Opinions for Targeted Killings to (Democratic) US Senator"

"Wyden, who serves on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, by law is supposed to provide oversight and have access to classified legal opinions, but, as he shares, the Obama administration has refused to provide him access to a copy of secret legal opinions for targeted killings."

Wyden explained that the decision by the Obama administration to claim intelligence agencies may kill American citizens while at the same time refusing to provide Congress with access to all legal opinions explaining the administration’s understanding of the authority is “alarming and indefensible.”

I agree with Senator Wyden who is himself a Democrat,
so this is a story about a Democrat criticizing a Democrat.
Do YOU agree with Senator Wyden?

Would you be happier if this was simply swept under the rug?

Story #2 "Critical of Democrats":

Max Baucus: Connoisseur of Revolving Door Corruption
"Major tax cuts were extended for giant corporations — while the average Montana was stuck with a $900/year in increased taxes — and the person responsible is claiming he doesn’t even know how his staff put it in there for his former staff? This is why last night Bill Moyers referred to Max Baucus as, “a connoisseur of revolving door corruption.”

http://my.firedoglake.com/brigham/2013/01/14/max-baucus-connoisseur-of-revolving-door-corruption/

Fu**ing Max Baucus!!???
You are really going to Go-to-Bat to protect him?
You REALLY don't think he is worthy of criticism?

Bill Moyers made the "revolving door" criticism of Mac Baucus that FDL was repeating. Are you going to kick Bill Moyers under the bus to protect Old DINO Max?

Story #3 "Critical of Democrats"
"Obama Really Wants to Play Debt Ceiling Chicken"
This could have been better written, but the points made are justified.
In my own Democratic Opinion, I don't believe our President HAS been an effective negotiator on behalf of Working Class Americans and Organized LABOR,
but that is material for another discussion.

There are at least 2 other stories highly critical of the NRA and Gun Nuts,
MOST of whom ARE Republicans,

....and one story reporting the US cooperation with France in an expanding military adventure in Mali,
which I believe is worth watching closely.

The number of posts I put up at DU that are critical of the Democrats far outnumber the posts of mine that are critical of Republicans.
That is because I AM a DEMOCRAT.

I seldom focus on the Republicans.
I don't send them money.
I don't vote for them.
I don't post on Republican sites.
I don't expect them to represent my Working Class interests.
I EXPECT them to be exactly WHO and WHAT they are.
I don't expect a dog to be anything other than a dog.
I don't expect republicans to be anything other than Republicans.
I don't expect to have a voice in the Republican Party.

I AM a Democrat.
I send money to the Democratic Party.
I volunteer for Democratic GOTV.
I post on Democratic Sites.
I expect to have a voice in the Democratic Party.
I expect the Democrats to represent MY Working Class interests,
and when they don't,
I have earned the right to Speak Up Loudly,
and will continue to do so.

Maybe you should have read the posts at FDL and commented on their content instead just counting the headlines to form your opinion.
I know that takes longer, and is more work,
but the results are worth it if you want to be taken seriously.

MY Opinion.

You will know them by their WORKS,
not by their rhetoric, promises, or excuses.
