The Bush tax cuts primarily for the wealthy passed early in his first term was supposed to invigorate the economy, the exact opposite happened, the economy went in the toilet and has stayed there.
At what point will you stop chanting the tired mantra that tax cuts for the wealthy benefit the rest of society?

Despite the seeming negative incentive, the wealthy have a much higher share than before.

Taxes aren't a penalty. Taxes are paying your fair share in contributing to our great country.

The government borrows the money for the tax cuts from the Chinese and then they pay interest on it,

The percentage of taxes should not be the same. The very wealthy should pay a higher percentage.

The tax rate on the very wealthy is so much less than it was in the 1960s and 70s.
