so we are doomed to be long-distance grandparents, just as it was for us when we had our kids.. We never lived closer than 300 miles to a grandparent..
She'll just have to be spoiled by the grandparents who send her goodies & talk on the phone
I suspect that they will move back to Seattle as soon as the economy picks up.. That;s where Mom is from, and where our son has lived of 15 years, so that's home.. Texas is only their home because he needed a job so desperately and that's where he found it ..

Get Skype. Make sure you talk to her everyday. I talk with my sisters everyday in Maryland.
